THE BIG NIGHT!
Some of you may think that we do nothing but eat and drink….well, you may be right. We were invited to the beautiful Shelter Island home of George and Christina Nemeth along with Wolffer Vineyard winemaker Roman Roth and his wife, Dr. Vincent De Gregorio and Jennifer Says, Ian Savage and Christine and Max Ansbacher. George had a special evening planned with his friend Christine who holds a degree from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London. Christine is a wine entertainer. We were treated to her piece de resistance, a demonstration of Champagne sabering. According to Chris, "no lives have been lost." Her record remained unblemished this evening.
