How to chill your wine faster than in the fridge.
Use a quick cooling sleeve produced by Rapid Ice. This is a simple, gel-filled sleeve that can be placed in a freezer overnight. When you need to chill a bottle quickly, just fit it over the bottle. It chills a white wine in about 6 minutes compared to leaving it in the fridge for 30 minutes. It cools a red wine in 2 minutes. A slightly different size sleeve works for Champagne and sparkling wines and takes about 8 minutes. These sleeves are life savers when you are in a time bind.
